PechaKucha Goa
PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format where one shows 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically, and the speaker talks along through the images. The total presentation time is 6 mins and 40 seconds each.
The first PechaKucha Night, devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham Architecture, was held in Tokyo in February 2003. PechaKucha Night event is now held in more than 1300 cities across the globe. In 2004, European cities began hosting PK Nights, followed by hundreds of others. More than 3 million people have attended a PK Night.
The first edition of PechaKucha Night Goa was held on 18th October 2018 in Panjim by the PechaKucha Night Goa license holder agency ‘Festivalists’, run by its organiser ‘Ravi Kambhoj’.
