  1. AMARTYA SENGUPTA_ARTIST & ENTREPRENEUR

Amartya Sengupta is a jeweller by profession. After leaving her highly-paid banking career she started her business Ornaate, which is now 10 years old. After 7 years she started her own manufacturing unit here in Goa. At 39 she has learnt silver smithing as well to guide her artisans who work on her design to make bespoke pieces made with silver & gold. Amartya moved to Goa 3 years ago to continue her life journey and to expand her artwork here in Goa. Amartya is a single mother of 12 years and a pet mom too.

PREMISE:

Amartya unveils her life: career shift, personality evolution, city change, artistic calling, and more, in a transformative narrative.

  1. AMY D’SOUZA_CREATIVEPRENUER

BIO:

Amy D’Souza is a creative person & Photographer who uses her lens fueled by her ability to explore and express human emotions to transform life moments into amazing creations/portraits that families can cherish and celebrate for a life time!

PREMISE:

She didn’t realize she was jumping into a sea of creativity when she started off and her life story is worth listening to.

  1. ANA MARGARIDA ESTEVES_ARTIST

BIO

Ana Margarida Esteves is a Portuguese Artist who embraces the silver lining between art and design, with concepts that are both functional and poetic. Ana is the founder of Mar Salgado (salted sea), a project that aims to encourage people to look at Nature differently through the designing of products from the raw elements,  integrating drift and abandoned wood, and brass, and making all its imperfections stand out in a beautiful way.

PREMISE

The portuguese perspective about the sea as an important cultural element, its metaphors and how it works as inspiration for the artwork and process.

  1. CHARLESTON DSOUZA_FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

BIO:

Charleston Dsouza, resides in Assagao, completed his grad from st.xaviers Mapusa, worked as a freelance graphic designer/ illustrator.

PREMISE:

Charleston going to talk about his art and how he became an artist from scratch and let everyone know that everyone down deep inside them is an artist

  1. GOVIND SILIMKHANN_ARTIST

BIO:

Govind, with three decades of experience and passionate and dedicated practise of art behind his back, considered practise of watercolour as worship. Having reached an admirable stage of maturity, where the brush begins to spontaneously respond to his touch, each heritage house, pristine landscape, and apparently casual spots in Goa are elevated, by Govind, to creditable level. 

Recipient of State Art Awards

Govind encourages  young artists and watercolour practitioners develop their skills and present their works. He enjoys live demonstrations and prefers to work in educating others and spreading the love for this seemingly difficult medium.

  1. KAROLINA PIECH_PHOTOGRAPHER/FASHION DESIGNER

BIO:

Born in Poland. Graduated with MA Degrees of Fine Arts, at Royal Academy of Fine Arts, in Antwerp, Belgium, at Fashion Design department in 2011.

Done various internships at London based labels – Customers Own Property, Jean – Pierre Braganza, and fashion house Balenciaga, before, during and after studying her degrees.

Worked at Alexander McQueen studio in London, UK and at Balenciaga in Paris, France.

From 2018 worked at Gurukul School of design in Jaipur, India, as an Assistant Professor research methodologies and Assistant Professor Photography. After conducted creative design workshops and Masterclasses at Marangoni campus in Mumbai, Pearl Academy, Mumbai, UID in Ahmedabad, FAD International in Mumbai.

Currently a Freelancer, based in India.

PREMISE:

Project is an intimate documentary of people around,those known to her,strangers she approached during lockdown,various characters,frequently in the moment of vulnerability.

  1. MUKUND IYER_ARTIST, EDUCATOR & BIO-ARCHITECT 

BIO:

Mukund Iyer, Founder of Obaruhu and Sochalaya, is a Bio-Architect and Artist specializing in Intermodal Expressive Arts. With a belief that traditional education outlines what to avoid in life, he advocates for play in healing and education. Co-founder of “KHEL,” a cycle cart for street children, he mastered participatory architecture in Brazil’s Warriors without Weapons program. Mukund’s nomadic journey extended to Turkey, where he empowered locals as self-sufficient architects. As the creator of Sochalaya and co-founder of Obaruhu, he bridges art, psychology, and architecture through participatory methodologies, offering training in Intuitive Natural Building, the Art of Unconditioning, and Intermodal Expressive Art therapy.

The art of unconditioning : Transitioning from being an artist to embodying the art.

  1. NANDINI RAIKAR_ARTIST

BIO:

Nandini Raikar, a gifted self taught artist, has a remarkable talent to express the deepest of human emotions. Her artworks reflects a profound connection to nature, unveiling hidden narratives within the flora by the interplay of colors and canvas that embody her evolving ideologies. Her composition are subtle, well balanced with soft and natural tones echoing the essence of the surroundings.

Her journey in art to a recognized artist has been a testament to passion and dedication. 

“BLESSINGS OF THE TREE” a solo art exhibition was recently inaugurated at Carpe Diem Art Gallery. Her artworks have gained lot of appreciation and recognition on this ongoing art show.

Nandini Raikar will talk about how her inspiration for Nature took her to a journey to become a successful artist.

BIO:

Vishal is not your typical point-and-shooter. He is a professional photographer who thrives on the thrill of capturing diverse subjects and moments. Whether it’s surrounded by the wild or immersed in urban landscapes, he is always ready to raise his camera and create magic. 

Photography isn’t just a passion for him – it’s an art form. From fashion and portraits to wildlife and landscapes, every click of the shutter allows him to uncover new perspectives, breathing life into the ordinary. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; well, he is here to make those words dance.

Over the years, he had the incredible opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands out there, like Harley Davidson, National Geography, GVK, Grand Hyatt, Taj, Mariott, Yuvraj Singh foundation, govt of goa and many more. You see, he don’t limit himself to one place. He seize every opportunity to capture breathtaking moments, not just in our own backyard but on the global stage as well.
