FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR 

RAVI KAMBHOJ is an award-winning curator, director, producer and marketing professional. He has worked as a senior executive at J. Walter. Thompson, Lowe Lintas and Grey Worldwide are among India’s top five advertising agencies.

Ravi moved to New Zealand in 2000 and worked with several prestigious production houses, including National Television TVNZ in New Zealand. Festivalists’ was founded by Ravi Kambhoj in 2007 in Wellington-New Zealand, to encourage, promote and support the Arts, Music, Dance and Theatre in New Zealand for the benefit of all New Zealanders. Festivalists were instrumental in making the ‘Diwali Festival one of the top cultural festivals in the country.

Festivalists founded the now-famous ‘Yes India Film Festival’ in New Zealand. In 2010, Ravi moved to Sydney/Australia to curate the most prominent South Asian Arts Festival in Australia called ‘Parramasala’ run by the Australian state government of ‘New South Wales’. He was the ‘Artistic Director’ of the festival for three years, from 2010 to 2012. Once his contract with the NSW state government ended, he continued with ‘Festivalists’ in Australia and New Zealand. Ravi has numerous very successful festivals and events under his belt in Australia and New Zealand, such as ‘Parramasala’, ‘Sacred Music Festival, Yes India Film Festival,
‘Taree Arts Festival’, ‘Indie Gems Films Festival, Jurassic Lounge’, ‘Gangsters Ball’, New Zealand Burlesque Festival’, to name a few.

Ravi now lives in Goa and wants to make Goa the most vibrating place for unique festivals and events. He founded ‘PechaKucha Goa’ in 2018 and curated the monthly event wherein professionals from Creative and Entrepreneurs are invited to share their ideas and stories.
